Bacteria Buster Spray

Fruits and vegetables are good for your health-but the germs, wax and pesticide residue on them are not. Before taking a bite out of that juicy apple, give it a good wash. Right before consuming any produce, make sure it's clean by using this all-natural solution. Simply mix 1 cup water with 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon vinegar; place in a spray bottle. Spray all over produce and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse under running water. For fruits coated in wax such as apples and grapes, it's best to peel off the skins after washing since water alone cannot remove the sticky chemical residue.
