One of the most valuable asset given to us by GOD is our eyes. Now, its on us how to care of these invaluable assets.
  1. Wash eyes with cold water: perhaps 3 to 4 times  a day would do the job.
  2. Vitamin A: increase intake of vitamin A in your diet which is very crucial for eyes health. Eat fruits which have high content of vitamin A in them like carrots, green leafy vegetables like spinach.
  3. Wear goggles\sunglasses in strong sunlight: strong sunlight put a lot of strain on our eyes, which could be harmful, so its better to wear sunglasses.
  4. Avoid eye make-up: it doesn't worth anything other than problems so avoid putting chemicals in your eyes.
  5. Quit Smoking: smoking is injurious for our health we all know this, but still there are some people who continue to smoke despite of the warnings given by doctors about the ill-effects of smoking. Smoking affects every organ of our body including our eyes, so for better eyes health avoid smoking.
  6. Take a break: always take a break, when you are working on computer for long hours perhaps 2 to 3 minutes of break in every 1 hour or so. While taking this break try to focus your eyes on some distant object because when you are working on computer your eyes are continuously focusing on a very small distance which isn't good for your eyes health.
  7. Blink more: If you can't take a break just blink your eyes as often as you can this is because when we are working on computer we tend to blink our eyes less frequently which dries out our eyes causing irritation in our eyes which causes you to rub your eyes which isn't good at all, if you feel itching in your eyes don't rub your eyes perhaps you should simply wash eyes with cold water.
