Benefits of drinking water





As we all know water is an essential ingredient for survival of any living organism on this earth, and we are not any different. A man can survive for about a month without food but can't even survive for a week without drinking water. Water is really an integral part of our life, our human body is nearly made up of about 70% of water. Every system in our body is dependent on water, whether it be to flush out toxins or carry nutrients to our cells.  




  1. Detoxify body: drinking water helps in removing toxins from our body in form of either urine or sweat.
  2. Good for skin: drinking enough water can used to combat with various skin disorder like wrinkles, acne, scar and dryness of skin.
  3. Helps in maintaining body Ph: For proper functioning of human body it requires a Ph of 7, water helps in maintaining this Ph.
  4. Regulate body temperature:  In summer heat water keeps our body cool.
  5. Reduces the risk of colon cancer: water is essential for good bowl movement, it helps in avoiding constipation & hence reduces the risk of colon cancer.
  6. Helps in weight loss: drinking water on regular basis suppresses your appetite to a great extent and hence helps in limiting your intake of food. Another property of water which helps in weight loss is, it don't have any calories in it.
  7. Helps in maintaining balance of body fluids: Water is the main component of all body fluids making up 45-75% of the total body weight.
  8. Good for kidneys: the main function of kidneys is to filter blood and remove waste.And in doing so a lot of water is required by kidneys. Water helps kidneys to work them properly.
  9. Helps in bowel movement: for proper bowl movement one should have enough fibers in his diet but these fibers are useless without water. So, one should drink enough water with fibers to accommodate healthy bowl movement.
  10. Energize muscles: our muscles consist of about 75% of water this means water is essential for proper functioning of muscles to keep them fit and energetic.
